"Thank You" message: 3rd Edition of the Inter-Club Swimming Championships

Dear Colleagues,

This is to thank all the Clubs that participated in the 3rd Edition of the Inter-Club Swimming Championships held on 10 - 11 June 2017 at KISU, which was sponsored by DStv, Umeme, Rwenzori Water, KISU and USF.

We congratulate SEALS SWIM CLUB for collecting the most points and emerging 2017 Champions.

We recognize the effort from each of the other Clubs that participated and equally congratulate the different Individual Winners in each Category.

We also commend the new Clubs for sending Swimmers to the Gala and note that this should inspire harder work. We will continue encouraging the formation of new Clubs especially outside Kampala, while we inspire the older ones to deepen their squads.

We cannot forget to recognize the tireless work of USF Coaches and Parents that is pivotal to the quality and of Swimming, and pledge to avail the appropriate environment for continuous progress.

Our officials did well, and we will continue to equip them to even perform better next time.

We cannot help but thank God for the excellent weather and an incident-free Gala, knowing the tough times we live in that requires extra vigilance with security and safety.

This is to request you to send us individual feedback to enable us improve future Events. In this regard, please be advised that the USF Executive has already decided that starting with next Season, we will introduce a Junior Gala which will enable us to run the National Events with only the 12 years and above only. We will be consulting you on modalities in due course as each Club is expected to play a key role.

Find attached the ZIP folder for the Results, already posted on the USF Website www.ugandaswimming.org

Once again, thank you all very much.

Regards,

Donald RUKARE (Dr.) - President
